Too Many is a community of women in Los Angeles that supports one another in health and wellness while fostering a deep sense of belonging through our connections. We envision a world where all women have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
There are Too Many women whose circumstances hold them back. There are Too Many women who feel isolated and alone. And there are Too Many women who ignore their own health and well-being.
Belonging
A sense of belonging and acceptance can improve our self-worth, our outlook on life, and increase our willingness to take meaningful and life-changing risks. Too Many is a place where women can be themselves and where each person’s individuality is embraced.
The more we connect and share with each other, the greater each person’s chance for success. Together we can build a network of women helping women. We bring together people to share insights, beliefs, and experiences, creating a space where we seek to listen while inspiring one another.

We recognize that personal growth is a continuous journey as we actively listen and learn from one another. We are inspired by positive, like-minded people but also seek to understand those with different views and experiences from our own. This can lead to powerful personal and professional growth.
The UN has found that by empowering women, we increase productivity and economic growth, improve overall healthcare and sustainable development, and promote more peaceful societies.

Nancy Nave
Chair
As the Board Chair, Nancy brings extensive professional experience and a deep commitment to empowering women. Her diverse background in engineering, business, and the arts enables her to create an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered to succeed.
Her public speaking work led to a successful transition into acting, and today she is a working actor in Los Angeles and a business coach, helping actors navigate the entertainment industry. Nancy contributes to other causes like Habitat For Humanity and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, dedicating her free time to community and connection.

Jamie Surges
Secretary
Jamie serves as the newest board member of Too Many. She gained firsthand experience in the nonprofit world when working for a startup company that bridged the gap between the entertainment industry and the mission of nonprofits by creating memorable fundraising experiences online. She continues to enjoy making a positive impact while teaching sports and working with an array of charitable causes.
Jamie is excited to hold a seat on the board of Too Many and continues to look forward to contributing to the community and women’s causes.

Jennifer Harris
Treasurer
After working in NYC as a financial analyst and regional account manager, Jennifer found her calling as a middle school teacher, nutritionist, and in social work where she focused on individuals with special needs. She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities and is deeply passionate about empowering others, especially women and children. She strives to foster deeper connections and meaningful engagement in the community.
